Background The State of Connecticut Department of Administrative Services (DAS) is issuing this Solicitation for Wildlife Habitat Management pursuant to its authority under CGS 4a-2, 4a-52, and 4d-2. This contract aims to replace the previous contract award 19PSX0199. The goal is to secure qualified contractors to provide services that support the operational needs of the DEEP Client Agency in a timely, reliable, and cost-effective manner while complying with all applicable state and federal requirements. Work Details The contractor will provide services related to wildlife habitat management as specified in the solicitation. This includes ensuring that all services meet the operational needs of the DEEP Client Agency. The contractor must adhere to established security policies and procedures for each requesting Client Agency. Additionally, if commercial motor vehicles are required for the contract, the contractor will be subject to an administrative review by the Connecticut Department of Motor Vehicles. All equipment and appliances provided must meet or exceed federal energy conservation standards. Period of Performance The contract period is from April 29, 2026, at 7:00 AM EDT to May 13, 2026, at 2:00 PM EDT. Place of Performance The services will be performed in Connecticut as specified by the requesting Client Agency. Bidder Requirements Bidders must comply with Connecticut General Statutes regarding standard wage rates for service workers. Contractors must maintain a valid Connecticut Commercial Forest Practitioner Certification throughout the contract term and have a minimum of five years of relevant experience performing comparable services. Additionally, bidders must not be currently debarred or suspended from contracting with any governmental entity.
