Background The U.S. Army Contracting Command – New Jersey is seeking potential sources for Grounds Maintenance Services for the 99th Readiness Division located in Galax, VA. The goal of this contract is to maintain healthy grass, trees, shrubs, and plants while ensuring a clean, neat, and professional appearance in accordance with local, state, and federal regulations. Work Details The contractor shall provide all personnel, supplies, supervision, tools, materials, equipment, transportation, and other non-personal services necessary to deliver grounds maintenance services as outlined in the Performance Work Statement (PWS). Key tasks include: 1) Spring and Fall Clean up; 2) Mowing; 3) Grass Clipping Removal; 4) Trimming/Edging; 5) Maintenance of the Retention Pond. The contractor must adhere to quality control measures to ensure compliance with contract requirements and will be evaluated based on a Quality Assurance Surveillance Plan. The contractor is responsible for conducting business between the hours of 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM from Monday through Friday, excluding Federal Holidays or when the facility is closed due to emergencies. Period of Performance The period of performance shall be for one base year with four twelve-month option periods.
