Background The National Park Service (NPS), MWR NEKOTA Major Acquisition Buying Office (MABO) is issuing a solicitation for the repair and maintenance of the Marshland District Maintenance Shop Complex Facilities at St. Croix National Scenic Riverway, located in Pine City, MN. The goal of this contract is to ensure the upkeep and functionality of essential facilities within the national park, which supports the agency's mission to preserve natural and cultural resources. Work Details This project involves extensive exterior and interior repairs to five buildings and a surrounding chain link fence at a federal facility. The scope includes: 1. **Main Shop**: Replace electrical panels, lighting fixtures, heating units, and paint approximately 2,900 sq ft of exterior walls and trim. 2. **Wood Shop**: Replace insulated metal service doors, lighting fixtures, a garage door, heating unit, and paint approximately 1,650 sq ft of exterior walls and trim. 3. **Small Storage Building**: Painting only of approximately 400 sq ft of exterior walls and trim. 4. **Large Pole Building**: Replace insulated service doors, garage doors, and paint approximately 1,800 sq ft of exterior walls and trim. 5. **Gas Shed**: Replace roof ridge cap, service door set, and paint approximately 100 sq ft of exterior walls and trim. 6. **Chain Link Fence & Gate**: Replace approximately 90' of chain-link fence with barbwire top, repair sections to close security gaps, replace non-operational powered gate opener with new electrical service installation from the Main Shop's new panel. All electrical work must comply with the 2026 National Electric Code and requires third-party state-licensed inspection prior to final inspection. Period of Performance The contract is anticipated to be performed over a period of 90 calendar days, beginning in July/August 2026 contingent on issuance of Notice to Proceed. Place of Performance The construction projects will be performed at St. Croix National Scenic Riverway located at 15975 State Highway 70, Pine City MN 55063.
