Background Fayette County Public Schools (FCPS) is issuing a request for bids for the supply of xerographic copy paper. The goal of this contract is to ensure that the school district has a reliable source of high-quality copy paper for its educational needs. Work Details The contractor will provide 8 1/2" x 11" xerographic copy paper in two options: a carton of 840 cartons and a carton of 10,080 cartons. The paper must be plain white, chemical wood free pulp #3 sulfite, with a hard smooth finish free of lint. Each carton must contain ten reams, each ream consisting of 500 sheets, and must be packaged in sealed moisture-proof packaging. Delivery is preferred to be completed by August 31, 2026, with multiple truckloads per day until the entire quantity is delivered. A sample of at least two reams must be submitted with the bid or delivered to the Purchasing Office prior to bid opening; bids without samples will be considered non-responsive. Period of Performance The contract is for a one-time purchase, with delivery expected to be completed by August 31, 2026. Place of Performance The delivery location is the FCPS Warehouse at 1126 Russell Cave Rd, Lexington, KY 40505. Bidder Requirements Bidders must provide samples with their bids and comply with all applicable provisions of KRS 45A and other statutes noted in this solicitation. They must also submit proof of insurance including workers’ compensation and liability coverage. Additionally, bidders claiming Kentucky residency status must complete an affidavit affirming their eligibility as resident bidders.
