Background The Department of Corrections (DOC) of the State of Rhode Island is seeking proposals from vendors to provide comprehensive chemical cleaning, manufacturing, packaging, sales, distribution, and training services. The goal of this contract is to ensure that the DOC has access to high-quality chemical cleaning products and services necessary for its operations. Work Details Vendors are required to provide complete chemical cleaning solutions which include manufacturing, packaging, sales, distribution, and training. Specific details regarding the scope of work can be found in the solicitation documents. The contract will also require vendors to adhere to delivery terms specified as Free On Board (FOB) Destination. Period of Performance The initial contract period will begin approximately on July 1, 2026, for three (3) years. There is an option for renewal for up to two (2) additional 12-month periods based on vendor performance and availability of funds. Place of Performance The services will be performed within the State of Rhode Island as specified by the Department of Corrections. Bidder Requirements Vendors must register in Ocean State Procures™ to submit responses. They must also comply with insurance requirements including liability coverage of $1 million per occurrence and workers' compensation coverage. Vendors are encouraged to include participation from Minority/Women/Disability Business Enterprises (ISBEs) in their proposals.
