Background The State of Utah Division of Facilities Construction and Management (DFCM) is requesting proposals for construction services for the Richfield Regional Center project. The project is designed by AJC Architects and includes a new 24,200 square foot Regional Center along with a partial remodel and small addition to an adjacent single-story state building. Work Details The project involves the construction of a new 24,200 square foot Regional Center and the partial remodel of an existing single-story building (approximately 7,000 square feet). The remodeled building will house various state agencies including the Department of Motor Vehicles, Driver License Division, Utah Highway Patrol, Dispatch, Health and Human Services, and Workforce Services. Common areas such as conference rooms, shared desks, breakout rooms, wellness rooms, and support spaces for work areas will also be included. Key project requirements include managing dust control and noise due to the occupied nature of the existing building during construction. Additive alternates include: 1) CDL Range and Associated Site Work; 2) Roof Monitor and Clerestory Windows; 3) Bike Lockers and Concrete Pad.
