Background The U.S. Geological Survey (USGS) is issuing this solicitation for the repair of the Gage House roof at the Iowa Water Science Center located in Iowa City, IA. The mission of the USGS is to provide reliable scientific information about the Earth, its natural resources, and the environment. The goal of this contract is to ensure that the Gage House roof is repaired effectively to maintain the integrity and functionality of the facility. Work Details The contractor shall provide all necessary plant, equipment, labor, materials, and supervision required for roofing repair at the USGS Iowa Water Science Center. This includes compliance with attached specifications and drawings. The specific services include: - Repair and installation of roofing materials on the roof and soffits as outlined in the Statement of Work. - The estimated magnitude of this project is less than $25,000.00. - The work must conform to environmental management systems as specified in Section C.2. - The contractor must furnish all facilities, labor, supervision, and materials as per Attachment 1 entitled 'USGS Gage Roof SOW'. Period of Performance The period of performance for this contract is from June 1, 2026, to July 31, 2026. Place of Performance The work will be performed at the USGS Iowa Water Science Center located at 400 S. Clinton Street, Room 269, Iowa City, IA 52240.
