Alton Jones, and Narragansett Bay Campuses. This contract aims to ensure the reliability and safety of the electrical infrastructure supporting the university's operations. Work Details The contractor will be responsible for high and medium voltage operation and maintenance services, including but not limited to: - Routine inspections and preventive maintenance of electrical distribution systems. - Emergency response services for electrical outages or failures. - Repair services for any identified issues within the electrical systems. - Compliance with all relevant safety regulations and standards during service delivery. Period of Performance The initial contract period will commence on April 14, 2026, and conclude on May 21, 2026. The contract may be extended for up to two additional 12-month periods based on vendor performance and availability of funds. Place of Performance Services will be performed at the University of Rhode Island's Kingston, East Farm, W. Alton Jones, and Narragansett Bay Campuses located in Rhode Island. Bidder Requirements Vendors must register in Ocean State Procures™ to submit proposals. The awarded vendor must maintain all required licenses throughout the contract duration. Insurance requirements include: - Liability insurance with a combined single limit of $1 million per occurrence. - Workers' compensation insurance as per state regulations. - Automobile liability insurance with a limit of $1 million per occurrence.
