Civil Support Team Vehicle Bay Expansion

Background

The Delaware Army National Guard is issuing this contract for the construction of a garage expansion for the Civil Support Team at the Smyrna Readiness Center. The goal of this contract is to enhance the facilities available for the Civil Support Team, thereby supporting their operational readiness and mission effectiveness.

Work Details

The project involves the new construction of a garage expansion specifically designed for the Civil Support Team. The location for this construction is at Smyrna Readiness Center, 103 Artisan Drive, Smyrna, DE 19977. Bidders must attend a mandatory pre-bid meeting on May 6th, 2026, to establish subcontractor listings and address any questions regarding the project. Each bid must include bid security equivalent to ten percent of the bid amount and all additive alternates. The successful bidder will be required to post a performance bond and payment bond equal to 100 percent of the contract price upon execution of the contract.

Period of Performance

The contract work is expected to commence after June 2, 2026, following the public reading of bids.

Bidder Requirements

Bidders must show identification upon entering the site and sign in at the Security Officers desk. Attendance at the mandatory pre-bid meeting is required for bidding on this contract. Minority Business Enterprises (MBE), Disadvantaged Business Enterprises (DBE), Women-Owned Business Enterprises (WBE), and Veteran-Owned Business Enterprises (VBE) are encouraged to submit bids and will not face discrimination based on race, color, national origin or sex.
