Richardson & Robbins Building-Metal Roof Replacement

Background

The State of Delaware, through the Office of Management and Budget, Division of Facilities Management, is issuing this solicitation for the replacement of the metal roof at the Richardson & Robbins Building. Work Details

The project involves the following key tasks: 1. Replacement of the standing seam metal roof at the Richardson & Robbins Building. 2. Replacement of several low-slope and steep-slope roof areas. 3. Installation of new gutters, snow guards, and downspouts. 4. Extension of the existing lightning protection system to accommodate the new metal roof.

The contract work is scheduled to commence after award and is expected to be completed within a timeframe that aligns with project requirements post-bid acceptance.

Bidder Requirements

Bidders must attend a mandatory pre-bid meeting on May 18, 2026, at 9:00 AM at Conference Room 133 in Haslet Armory, Dover, DE. Bids must include a bid security equivalent to ten percent of the bid amount and all additive alternates. The successful bidder must provide a performance bond and payment bond equal to 100% of the contract price upon execution of the contract. Bidders are encouraged to be M/WBE (Minority/Women-Owned Business Enterprises) compliant.
