Background The USDA Agricultural Research Service (ARS) is issuing solicitation number 1232SA26Q0273 for a firm fixed requirement focused on Mass Spectrometry-Based Untargeted Metabolomics Analysis. Work Details The contractor will perform the following tasks: - Ship filtered supernatant overnight on dry ice for mass spectrometry-based untargeted metabolomics and data analysis. - Conduct two experiments: the first with 177 samples and the second with 81 samples. - Complete metabolomics analysis within 45 days of sample receipt and transfer data files to the ERRC. - Analyze processed supernatants using three panels: primary metabolism, complex lipids, and biogenic amines, capable of providing data for over 1000 validated compounds. - Ensure all data is reported with retention times, quantification masses, biochemical database identifiers, and adduct information. - Provide metabolite annotations with confidence ratings from confirmed structure matches to molecular formula identifications. - Maintain traceability to the Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) and furnish a Certificate of Conformance (COC). All pricing must include associated costs and shipping. Period of Performance The contract will be performed from May 1, 2026, to April 30, 2027.
