The State of Delaware Department of State, Delaware Veterans Home, is seeking professional services to upgrade the legacy Ascom Telligence HC style hardware associated with the Ascom C600 units to the new T6 version. This initiative aims to enhance the nurse call system at a long-term care facility serving Delaware’s veteran population. The current technology is outdated and nearing end-of-sale and end-of-service status.

Work Details

The contract requires the vendor to provide all equipment, materials, and labor necessary for the transition from the existing Ascom Telligence HC hardware to the newer Ascom Telligence T6 hardware platform. Specific tasks include: - Replacing existing hardware - Transitioning from a hardwired infrastructure to IP-based connectivity - Removing abandoned wiring associated with the legacy installation - Reusing compatible existing bed licenses, power switches, and master stations - Implementing Ascom SafeConnect magnetic controlled release connections where available - Providing warranty details for both equipment and installation work - Developing a phased installation plan to minimize disruption to residents and staff.
