Background This contract is issued by the 413th Contracting Support Brigade, located at Fort Shafter, HI. The goal of this contract is to install a new fiber optic cable within the existing secure Protected Distribution System (PDS) at the specified location, ensuring that the integrity and accreditation of the PDS are maintained throughout the installation process. Work Details The contractor is required to perform the installation of a new fiber optic cable within the existing secure Protected Distribution System (PDS). This includes providing all personnel, equipment, supplies, facilities, transportation, tools, materials, supervision, and other items necessary for the completion of this task. Specific objectives include: - Installing a fully operational fiber optic cable without compromising PDS integrity; - Restoring the PDS to its original accreditation-compliant sealed status upon completion; - Providing certified test results verifying the performance of the newly installed fiber optic cable. The contractor must also develop and maintain a Quality Control Plan (QCP) to ensure compliance with standards outlined in the Performance Work Statement (PWS). Period of Performance The contract period of performance is expected to be no later than 30 days after receipt of order.
