This is a non-personal services contract to provide cranes and hoists inspection and Preventative Maintenance. The Government shall not exercise any supervision or control over the contract service providers performing the services herein. Such contract service providers shall be accountable solely to the contractor who, in turn, is responsible to the Government. The contractor shall provide all management, tools, supplies, equipment, transportation, materials, supervision and other non-personal services necessary to perform inspection, maintenance, and repair of the Cranes/Hoists Inspection, Maintenance and Repairs on Joint Base Langley-Eustis (JBLE), Eustis, VA, in a manner that will ensure continuous and safe operation. The contractor shall perform to the standards in this PWS. All maintenance work shall be in accordance with commercial practices or manufacturers' specifications.
Background This contract is issued by the United States Government for non-personal services related to the inspection, maintenance, and repair of cranes and hoists at Joint Base Langley-Eustis (JBLE), Eustis, VA. The goal of this contract is to ensure continuous and safe operation of all cranes and hoists listed in the Performance Work Statement (PWS). The contractor will be responsible for providing all necessary management, tools, supplies, equipment, transportation, materials, and supervision without direct oversight from the Government. Work Details The contractor shall perform the following tasks: 1. Conduct inspections and load tests on all cranes and hoists as specified in Technical Exhibit A to ensure reliable and continuous safe operation. 2. Provide all management, tools, supplies, equipment, labor, and other items necessary for these inspections. 3. Ensure that all maintenance work complies with commercial practices or manufacturers' specifications. 4. Maintain a Mission-Essential Contractor Services Plan to continue operations during crises as directed by the Government. 5. Participate in training events and drills associated with continuity of operations procedures. Period of Performance The period of performance for this contract is from April 1, 2026 to March 31, 2027. Place of Performance The contract will be performed at Joint Base Langley-Eustis (JBLE), Eustis, VA.
