Work Details The Contractor shall perform scheduled preventative maintenance on all HVLS fans as outlined in the Performance Work Statement (PWS). The maintenance tasks include: 1. Clean all airfoils; 2. Check tightness of all hardware with a torque wrench; 3. Verify airfoil retainer clips are installed; 4. Check mounting method; 5. Check fan for plumb and level; 6. Check torque of Fenner at 167 ft-lbs; 7. Check dimensions of any supplemental steel supports; 8. Visually inspect welds; 9. Check wiring methods used; 10. Verify raceways are isolated; 11. Verify all electrical connections on motor and controller are correct and properly tightened; 12. Verify fault history; 13. Verify properly sized fuses are installed in controller; 14. Verify maximum HZ has not been changed in the VFD; 15. Inspect for any signs of physical damage to fan or controller; 16. Clear debris and dirt from the VFD with air gun; and 17. Document any customer complaints. Period of Performance The estimated period of performance is one (1) base year plus six (6) option years beginning from the time of award. Place of Performance The work will be performed at Fort Eustis, Virginia, specifically at the locations of the HVLS fans detailed in Attachment A.
