New Hire Information Processing

Background

The State of Delaware, through its Department of Health and Social Services, is seeking to engage a vendor to provide professional services related to new hire information processing. The goal of this contract is to ensure effective management and processing of information pertaining to new hires in compliance with applicable regulations and standards.

Work Details

The vendor will be responsible for performing services as specified in the Appendices attached to the Agreement, which include but are not limited to: 1. Providing professional services related to new hire information processing. 2. Ensuring compliance with HIPAA regulations regarding Protected Health Information (PHI) and any other relevant federal and state laws. 3. Submitting monthly invoices detailing the services provided during the previous month. 4. Implementing a Change Order process for modifications in scope or deliverables as requested by Delaware. 5. Maintaining confidentiality of all sensitive information processed under this contract.

Period of Performance

The initial term of the contract will commence on the Start Date and will continue for a specified number of years, with options for renewal based on mutual agreement between the Vendor and Delaware.

Place of Performance

The services will be performed at locations designated by the State of Delaware, which may include various state facilities as required for effective service delivery.

Bidder Requirements

Vendors must possess a valid business license to operate in Delaware as per 30 Del. C. § 2101. Additionally, vendors are required to maintain insurance coverage including but not limited to: - Worker’s Compensation and Employer’s Liability Insurance - Commercial General Liability Insurance with limits of $1,000,000 per occurrence/$3,000,000 aggregate - Automotive Liability Insurance covering all vehicles used in performance of work under this Agreement.
