Chris Gatlin Recreation Center Roof Improvements

Sealed bids are being requested for the roof improvements at the Chris Gatlin Recreation Center by the Township of Irvington, NJ. The bids will be received in the Council Chambers at the Municipal Building on Wednesday, April 1, 2026, at 10:00 A.M. local time, where they will be publicly opened and read. Detailed requests for bids can be obtained from the Finance and Revenue Department, Division of Purchasing, at the Municipal Building, Room 203, one Civic Square, Irvington, NJ 07111, during business hours from 9:30 A.M. to 4:00 P.M., Monday through Friday. There is a non-refundable cost of $50.00 per bid packet to cover printing and administrative expenses. Checks should be made payable to the Township of Irvington. Bidders must submit a Proposal Form along with a Proposal Guarantee in the form of a Certified Check, Cashier's Check, or Guarantee Bid Bond, which should be 10% of the bid amount. The successful bidder will need to provide a Surety Performance Bond for the full contract amount. Bids must be enclosed in a sealed envelope clearly marked with the name of the bidder and the project title. Bids can be submitted by mail or delivered in person at the specified time and location. Bids sent by mail must arrive before the deadline and can be sent to the Office of Municipal Clerk, Township of Irvington, Municipal Building, One Civic Square, Room 116, Irvington, New Jersey 07111. Bidders are required to comply with various legal provisions, including wage regulations and affirmative action requirements. No bid may be withdrawn for 60 days following the bid opening. The Municipal Council reserves the right to reject any or all bids or to accept any bid that serves the best interest of the Township.
