Background The Kayenta Health Center, part of the Kayenta Service Unit (KSU), serves a population of approximately 20,000 people in a remote area. The center operates year-round, 24 hours a day, providing essential medical services to the community. This contract aims to ensure reliable elevator inspection services for the center's two vital elevators, which are crucial for its operations. The contractor is expected to provide professional expertise in elevator maintenance and inspections. Work Details The contractor shall provide monthly Safety Elevator Inspection Services at the Kayenta Health Center. The services include: - System and Service Review: Annual formal review with KSU staff to discuss past services and recommend improvements. - Safety Inspection and Preventive Maintenance: Monthly on-site inspections and Arizona State Annual Elevator Inspections. - Remote Monitoring: 24/7 telephone monitoring for elevator emergency calls. - Software Maintenance: Installation of manufacturer’s software revisions. - Telephone Support: Technical assistance via phone for operational issues. - On-Line Service: Online troubleshooting support. - System and Service Log: Documentation of concerns and service visits. - Documentation: Detailed records of materials used, hours spent, and service tickets signed by authorized representatives. - Operator Training: Annual on-site training for operators. - Elevator Telephone Service: 24/7 response service for elevator calls. The contractor must comply with NFPA/ASME regulations and provide technical support for maintenance and repairs.
