Background The Rhode Island Department of Transportation (RIDOT) is issuing this solicitation for the rehabilitation of Bridge No. 012301. This bridge has been identified with void deficiencies at the footings of Piers 1-4 and similar issues in Piers 5 & 6. The goal of this contract is to address these deficiencies through various rehabilitation works, ensuring the safety and longevity of the bridge. Work Details The proposed rehabilitation work includes: 1. Replacement of deck expansion joints. 2. Minor concrete patching repairs of the substructure and concrete arch panels. 3. Restoration of the contact area at selected bearings. 4. Underwater repairs to the tremie seals of the bridge piers. 5. Installation of scour countermeasures, focusing on repairing existing tremies. Period of Performance The contract will be performed from March 13, 2026, to April 10, 2026. Place of Performance The work will take place at Bridge No. 012301, located in Barrington, Rhode Island.
