2026 Commercial Tractor Mower

Background

The Town of Coventry, Rhode Island, is seeking bids for a 2026 Commercial Tractor/Mower to support its Department of Public Works. The goal of this contract is to procure a reliable and efficient tractor/mower that meets the specified requirements for municipal maintenance and operations.

Work Details

The contractor is required to provide a 2026 Kubota F2690 or John Deere 1575 Tractor with the following specifications: - 72” front mower deck with side discharge and mulching kit - Fully enclosed hard cab with sealing kit - Heater and A/C unit - Interior rear-view mirror - Suspension seat - Rear LED work light - Roof-mounted strobe light kit - 4PT debris blower - 51” snowblower with electric chute deflector - 60” front snow blade with rubber cutting edge - 4PT 66” rotary broom sweeper - Quick male hitch - Remote hydraulic kit and hydraulic valves - Front weight bracket with all-thread bolt kit - 56 lbs. suitcase counterweight. The tractor must have a 24-40 HP diesel engine and hydrostatic drive transmission with 4WD. A 24-month warranty is also required. Note that the Town will not take possession until July 1, 2026.

Period of Performance

The contract performance period will commence upon delivery of the equipment and is expected to be fulfilled by July 1, 2026.

Place of Performance

The contract will be performed in Coventry, Rhode Island.

Bidder Requirements

Bidders must comply with all applicable state laws and municipal ordinances. Out-of-state corporations must register to transact business in Rhode Island. Bids must be submitted in sealed envelopes clearly marked '2026 Commercial Tractor/Mower'. Bidders are required to provide an anti-collusion certificate as part of their submission.
