Background The Iowa Army National Guard's Midwest Counterdrug Training Center (MCTC) is seeking quotes for the Advanced Vehicle Contraband Concealment Course. The MCTC is one of five National Guard Counterdrug training programs, providing curriculum focused on counternarcotics and counter transnational organized crime (CTOC). Located at Camp Dodge Joint Maneuver Training Center in Johnston, Iowa, MCTC aims to impact the illicit flow of drugs throughout the nation by supporting federal, state, and local law enforcement agencies with relevant training. The courses are designed to enhance national security and support the objectives of various national drug control strategies. Work Details The contractor shall provide all personnel, equipment, tools, materials, supervision, and quality control necessary to design, develop, and instruct the Advanced Vehicle Contraband Concealment course for MCTC. The contract includes: 1) Technical Instruction Services for a base period with up to 7 iterations of the course; 2) Option 1 with up to 14 iterations; 3) Option 2 with up to 14 iterations; 4) Option 3 with up to 14 iterations; and 5) Option 4 with up to 14 iterations. Each course iteration will be scheduled based on funding and need as determined by MCTC. Period of Performance The Period of Performance includes one base period of 12 months and four optional periods of 12 months each. Place of Performance The contract will be performed at the Midwest Counterdrug Training Center located at Camp Dodge Joint Maneuver Training Center in Johnston, Iowa.
