Background The State of Delaware, specifically the Department of Health and Social Services, is seeking to engage a Vendor to provide professional services related to Newborn Hearing Screening Data Collection. The goal of this contract is to ensure effective collection and management of data pertaining to newborn hearing screenings, which is essential for early detection and intervention in hearing loss among infants. Work Details The Vendor shall perform services as specified in the Appendices attached to this Agreement. These services include but are not limited to: data collection, analysis, reporting, and any necessary modifications to improve the data collection process. The Vendor must ensure compliance with all applicable federal and state laws regarding health information privacy and security. Additionally, the Vendor will be responsible for maintaining the quality and accuracy of the data collected, as well as providing training and support for personnel involved in the data collection process. Period of Performance The contract will commence on the START DATE and will continue until the END DATE. There may be options for renewal based on mutual agreement between Delaware and the Vendor. Place of Performance The services will primarily be performed within the State of Delaware, with specific locations determined based on the needs of the Department of Health and Social Services. Bidder Requirements Vendors must be properly licensed to conduct business in Delaware as per 30 Del. C. § 2101. They must also comply with all insurance requirements including but not limited to Workers' Compensation, General Liability, and Professional Liability insurance as specified in the contract. Additionally, Vendors must maintain an active registration with SAM (System for Award Management) and provide a Unique Entity Identifier (UEI).
