Background The Fayetteville National Cemetery, part of the National Cemetery Administration under the Department of Veterans Affairs, is seeking janitorial services to maintain sanitation and aesthetic appearance at its facilities. This contract aims to ensure that the cemetery is maintained as a National Shrine, reflecting respect for those interred there. Work Details The contractor will be responsible for providing all personnel, supervision, equipment, materials, and services necessary for janitorial services at Fayetteville National Cemetery. Key tasks include: 1. Cleaning of various areas including the Administration Building (offices, common areas, kitchen, break room, restroom), Maintenance Building (break room, kitchen, common areas, foreman’s office, locker rooms, restrooms), and Public Restrooms. 2. Daily cleaning of non-carpeted floors to maintain them free from grit and debris using appropriate cleaning methods. 3. Daily cleaning of entrances and entrance platforms. 4. Regular vacuuming of carpeted floors and immediate attention to spots or spills. 5. Dusting horizontal surfaces within specified heights and ensuring cleanliness of vertical surfaces such as doors and light switches. 6. Adherence to all applicable laws and regulations while performing services Monday through Friday from 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., excluding Federal Holidays. Period of Performance The contract period is from June 1, 2026, to May 31, 2027, with options for four additional one-year extensions.
