The 413th Contracting Support Brigade is seeking qualified SBA Certified Women-Owned Small Business vendors regarding their ability for the following: Furnish all labor, equipment, materials, and all incidental related services to perform Replacement of Repair of Floor Covering and Carpeting of Miscellaneous Buildings in accordance with the technical provisions prepared by the Directorate of Public Works, U.S. Army Garrison, at various Army Installations on the Island of Oahu, Hawaii. The scope of work covered by this contract does not cover floor covering and or carpet work, which might arise as part of the contract to repair or renovate a building or group of buildings. The work covered by this contract does not include projects awarded by The U.S. Army Engineering District, Honolulu, or the Medical Facilities under Tripler (TAMC), to be designated during the contract period. Background The 413th Contracting Support Brigade is seeking qualified SBA Certified Women-Owned Small Business vendors for the replacement and repair of floor covering and carpeting in various buildings. The scope excludes any floor covering work related to building renovations or projects awarded by the U.S. Army Engineering District, Honolulu, or medical facilities under Tripler Army Medical Center. Work Details The contract involves furnishing all labor, equipment, materials, and incidental services for the following tasks: 1. Removal and disposal of existing non-asbestos vinyl and vinyl composition tile from floors and stairway treads/rises. 2. Installation of new vinyl tile on floors and stairway treads/rises after surface preparation. 3. Removal and disposal of asbestos-containing materials (ACM) from various buildings, including single-layer and multi-layer tiles. 4. Installation of resilient sheet vinyl flooring with and without backing. 5. Polish existing flooring post-installation. 6. Removal of ceramic tile flooring and installation of new ceramic tiles with specified dimensions. The estimated quantities for each task are provided in detail, indicating specific square footage for removal, installation, and testing. Place of Performance The work will be performed at various Army Installations on the Island of Oahu, Hawaii, including Fort Shafter, Fort DeRussy, Tripler Army Medical Center (excluding the main medical building), Aliamanu Military Reservation, Schofield Barracks (including East Range & Leilehua Golf Course), Wheeler Army Airfield, and Helemano Military Reservation.
