Background The Bureau of Indian Education (BIE), under the Department of the Interior (DOI), is issuing this solicitation for Physical Therapy Services at St. Stephens Indian School. The goal of this contract is to provide essential physical therapy services to support the health and rehabilitation needs of students at the school, ensuring compliance with federal regulations and standards for educational facilities serving Native American populations. Work Details The contractor will be responsible for providing comprehensive physical therapy services, which include but are not limited to: - Conducting assessments and evaluations of students' physical therapy needs. - Developing individualized treatment plans based on assessments. - Implementing therapeutic interventions to improve students' physical function and mobility. - Collaborating with educational staff to integrate therapy goals into students' educational plans. - Maintaining accurate records of student progress and treatment outcomes. - Communicating effectively with parents, guardians, and other healthcare providers regarding student care. - Ensuring compliance with all applicable laws, regulations, and standards related to physical therapy services in educational settings.
