Background The 45th Security Forces Squadron (SFS) is seeking to procure two complete and operational airboats and trailers for year-round operation in various water environments including lakes, rivers, swamps, bays, and mudflats. This procurement aligns with the agency's mission to ensure effective security operations. Work Details The contract requires the delivery of two (2) 14' x 8' complete and operational airboats along with trailers. The airboats must be new, fully operational upon acceptance, and conform to all federal and marine safety regulations. Key specifications include: - Hull: 14' L x 8' W; .190" 5086 Marine Grade Aluminum bottom; .125" 5052 Aluminum sides; reinforced with I-Beam cross bracing. - Engine: PCM 7.4 LSX 525 HP EFI – Federal EPA Certified. - Propulsion: OX BOX 2.38 Engine Reduction Unit; 3-Blade 82" Sensenich JX Series Propeller or similar. - Overhead Guard: Polished stainless steel tubing with welded wire. - Seating: Bridge Style with a rear operator seat and triple passenger front seating. - Instruments: Custom panel with Teleflex gauges. - Electrical: Dual Heavy-Duty AGM batteries; navigation lights; VHF Radio. - Fuel System: 50 Gallon low-profile aluminum tank. - Lighting: LED lights including strobe police lights. - Coating: Powder Coat Painting in standard OD Green. - Trailer: 14' x 8' Ram-Lin Tandem Axle Trailer with necessary features. Period of Performance The final product shall be delivered and ready for acceptance within 365 days from the date of the purchase order.
