Work Details The contractor is required to provide one (1) new 250 HP outboard engine with a 25-inch shaft, including all associated rigging components and electrical systems. The work includes: 1. Outboard Engine: 250 HP, Four-Stroke, new model year from a reputable manufacturer. 2. Engine Rigging: New digital throttle and shift controls, control box, key switch, main wiring harness, and necessary cabling. 3. Instrumentation: New multi-function digital gauge(s) displaying RPM, speed, fuel level, engine hours, trim, and diagnostics. 4. Propeller: New stainless-steel propeller sized for optimal performance; contractor to recommend pitch and diameter. 5. System Integration: Integration with existing hydraulic steering system; supply of any new fittings or hoses required. 6. Fuel System: Connection to existing fuel tank with a new fuel/water separator filter. 7. De-Rigging: Removal of the old engine and associated rigging from the vessel. 8. Transom Preparation: Inspection and preparation of the vessel's transom for installation. 9. Engine Mounting: Secure mounting of the new engine using stainless-steel hardware. 10. Rigging Installation: Neat routing and connection of control cables and wiring harnesses. 11. System Testing: Comprehensive operational tests post-installation to ensure functionality.
