Background The County of Hawai'i is seeking quotations for the procurement of rescue boards to support the Hawaii Fire Department's operations. The goal of this contract is to enhance the safety and efficiency of rescue operations conducted by the fire department. Work Details The contract involves providing 5 units of 10'6" Surf Rescue Boards with EVA Deck, as specified in the attached specifications. No substitutions are allowed. Additionally, shipping costs must be included if not already accounted for in the quote, and applicable taxes should not exceed 4.7120%. All quotations must be F.O.B. destination, freight prepaid and allowed, inclusive of all applicable taxes. Period of Performance The contract period will extend from the award date until December 31, 2030. Place of Performance Delivery is to be made to 466 Kinoole St, Hilo, HI 96720. Bidder Requirements Bidders must comply with Hawai‘i Compliance Express requirements for contracts valued at $2,500 or greater. Proof of compliance must be submitted prior to award. Additionally, bidders must not be debarred by the State of Hawai`i or the United States Federal government at the time of bidding.
