Background The Town of Mooresville is soliciting proposals for The Charles Mack Citizen Center (CMCC) from qualified audiovisual (AV) integration firms to design, furnish, install, configure, and commission a comprehensive facility-wide audio system. The goal of this project is to provide clear, intelligible, and flexible audio coverage throughout the facility, supporting daily operations, public meetings, events, and emergency communications. Work Details The project involves the design and installation of a comprehensive audio system that includes: - Complete audio system design ensuring proper sound coverage and intelligibility for all designated areas. - Design of at least nine (9) independently controllable audio zones with grouping capabilities. - Selection of appropriate loudspeakers (ceiling, wall-mounted), amplifiers, digital signal processing (DSP), and control hardware. - Furnishing all required equipment including audio distribution components and touchscreen control interfaces. - Professional installation of all equipment and coordination with CMCC staff. - Full system testing and commissioning to ensure performance meets design intent along with on-site training for CMCC & IT staff. - Delivery of as-built documentation and user manuals. Period of Performance The contract will be performed from the release date on February 16, 2026, until completion as per the agreed project timeline. Place of Performance The work will be performed at The Charles Mack Citizen Center located at 413 North Main Street, Mooresville, NC 28115. Bidder Requirements Proposers must demonstrate experience with similar municipal or public facility AV projects. They must possess proper licensing and insurance, have manufacturer certifications (preferred), and provide a minimum of three references for comparable projects completed within the past five years.
