Background The 2nd Reconnaissance Battalion, part of the U.S. Marine Corps, has a requirement for full-time support services in parachute/airborne operations, boating operations, rope jumping, dive operations, and maintenance services. These services are critical for supporting the training requirements of personnel stationed at Marine Corps Base Camp Lejeune, North Carolina. Work Details The contractor will provide non-personal services to assist the battalion's Parachute Loft Staff Non-Commissioned Officer in Charge (SNCOIC), Dive Locker SNCOIC, and Boat Locker staff. The tasks include: 1. Providing qualified personnel for parachute loft and airborne operations support. 2. Conducting maintenance and operational support for boating operations. 3. Facilitating rope jumping and diving operations. 4. Ensuring compliance with safety standards and operational training service support. 5. Maintaining all necessary licenses and certifications for personnel involved in these operations. 6. Developing a Hazard/Safety Plan that includes pre-flight checks, incident response protocols, and compliance with DoD Instruction 4500.53. Period of Performance The contract will have a one-year base period starting from June 15, 2026, with four additional one-year option periods extending through June 14, 2031. Place of Performance The primary location for performance is at the 2nd Reconnaissance Battalion facilities in Courthouse Bay (Buildings A-71 and A-72) at Camp Lejeune, NC. Additional work may be performed at an alternative location.
