Background Saratoga National Historical Park (SARA) is seeking to establish an effective single-stream recycling and solid waste removal program for the main developed park area. The National Park Service (NPS) has been mandated by Executive Order 13514 to achieve an overall waste diversion rate of at least 50% in all Federal Buildings by 2015. This contract aims to support SARA's goal of striving for a zero environmental footprint (ZEF) by 2030, contributing to agency-wide sustainability goals. Work Details The Contractor shall provide all management, supervision, labor, materials, supplies, and equipment necessary for the effective completion of the contract actions. Key responsibilities include: 1. Making management and operational decisions to meet contract objectives. 2. Utilizing innovation and technology to perform efficient single-stream recycling services. 3. Implementing an effective Quality Control Plan (QCP). 4. Keeping the Contracting Officer's Representative (COR) informed of work status and providing pertinent information. 5. Reducing environmental impacts by using environmentally sound practices and products. The Contractor must provide single-stream recycling and waste hauling services that include: 1. Trash hauling of all building waste disposed of in containers located in the lower maintenance yard, with disposal at a state-certified landfill. 2.
