Background The State of Delaware, through its Department of Health and Social Services, is seeking to engage a Vendor to provide technical assistance services. The goal of this contract is to obtain professional services that will support the agency's mission in health and social services. The Vendor will be responsible for delivering specific services as outlined in the agreement. Work Details The Vendor shall perform the services specified in the appendices to this Agreement, which include but are not limited to: 1. Providing technical assistance and support as required by the State. 2. Ensuring compliance with applicable federal and state laws, including HIPAA regulations regarding Protected Health Information (PHI). 3. Submitting monthly invoices detailing the services provided. 4. Appointing a Project Manager to oversee service delivery and ensuring that all work meets professional standards. Period of Performance The initial term of the contract will commence on the Start Date and will continue through the End Date, with options for renewal as specified in the agreement. Place of Performance Services will be performed primarily within the State of Delaware, at locations designated by the Department of Health and Social Services. Bidder Requirements Vendors must possess a valid Delaware business license as per 30 Del. C. § 2101. Additionally, they must maintain compliance with SAM registration requirements for federal grants and provide a Unique Entity Identifier (UEI). Vendors are also required to have appropriate insurance coverage including General Liability, Automotive Liability, and Worker’s Compensation.
