Background The P1625 MARSOC Storage and Training Facilities project is issued by the Naval Facilities Engineering Command (NAVFAC) for the Marine Corps Base (MCB) Camp Lejeune. The mission of this contract is to provide storage and training facilities for the Marine Special Operations Command (MARSOC). The goal of the contract is to enhance operational capabilities by constructing necessary infrastructure. Work Details The scope of work includes various construction tasks such as: - Building construction, specifically for storage and training facilities. - Coordination of utility shutdowns, particularly for water and electrical systems, which must not exceed three hours. - Protection of existing communication utilities during construction activities, especially fiber optic lines. - Construction must occur in a single phase without impeding operations of adjacent buildings. - Staging and laydown areas must be coordinated with the Resident Officer in Charge of Construction (ROICC) and restored post-construction. - A Contract Line Item Number (CLIN) is required for supplemental screening installation, which will be exercised at the option of the government once site clearing and building erection are complete. Period of Performance The contract will be performed over a period of 720 days following the award.
