Background The State of Hawaii, through the Department of Business, Economic Development & Tourism and the Hawaii Housing Finance and Development Corporation (HHFDC), is seeking bids for monthly landscaping services at various state-owned properties located in Oahu, Hawaii. The goal of this contract is to maintain the aesthetic and environmental quality of these properties through regular landscaping services. Work Details The contractor shall provide all labor, materials, equipment, and incidentals necessary for landscaping services at designated areas on State-owned land in Oahu. Specific tasks include: - Quarterly maintenance at a vacant parcel along Puha Stream in Waimanalo, including cutting weeds and vegetation to a height not exceeding 1 inch using weed whackers only, and removing all debris. - Quarterly maintenance at a vacant lot located at 45-418 Lolii Street in Kaneohe with similar requirements starting no earlier than August 1, 2026. - Bi-monthly maintenance at Poalima Remnant Lot in Waimanalo with the same cutting and removal specifications. - Monthly maintenance at Area 3B on a vacant parcel at HHFDC Kau'olu Properties Development in Waipahu, which includes trimming shrubs to 30-36 inches high and lifting tree canopies to 10 feet. All work must comply with industry standards and local laws. Period of Performance The contract period is for two years, effective around March 2, 2026, and ending around March 2, 2028. There is an option to extend for an additional two years at HHFDC's discretion. Place of Performance The work will be performed at various state-owned properties located in Oahu, Hawaii. Bidder Requirements Bidders must possess a C-27 Landscaping Contractor license. They must also be registered with the Hawaii Compliance Express (HCE) system to demonstrate compliance with applicable laws governing business operations in Hawaii. Bidders are required to submit various forms including a Form of Bid, Bid Schedule, Statement of Bidder Experience, and Wage Certificate through the HIePRO system.
