Solicitation number 15BBNF26Q00000018 is issued as a request for quotation (RFQ), for: The Federal Bureau of Prisons, Field Acquisition Office, intends to issue a solicitation for the supply and installation of: A new duplex alternating water softener system to replace the existing unit serving the Powerhouse at FCI Sandstone. The contractor shall furnish all equipment, labor, materials, and services necessary to remove the existing system and install, program, and commission the new system in accordance with the Statement of Work. As this is a supply and install action, the Service Contract Labor Standards apply, and Wage Determination No. 2015 4959 is incorporated and governs all covered service employees performing work under the contract. The anticipated period of performance for completion of all work is ninety one (91) calendar days from the date of award. Place of performance is the Federal Correctional Institution (FCI) Sandstone, MN, located at 2300 County Rd. 29, Sandstone, MN 55072. The contract type will be Firm-Fixed-Price (FFP). The Government reserves the right to award to the responsible vendor(s) whose offer conforms to the solicitation and is considered most advantageous to the Government.
