Background The purpose of this solicitation is to procure Snow and Ice Removal Services in support of the 99th Readiness Division. This contract is issued by the government and is set aside 100% for small businesses. The services will be performed at the Abingdon Memorial USARC located at 571 Walden Road, Abingdon, VA 24210. Work Details The contractor shall provide all personnel, supplies, supervision, tools, materials, equipment, transportation, fuel, and other items necessary to provide snow and ice removal services as specified in the Performance Work Statement (PWS). The contractor must perform to the standards outlined in the contract as well as comply with all federal, state, and local regulations. The objective of this contract is to ensure a clean workplace free of snow and ice. Services are to be performed on all locations specified on the site map provided in the attachments. Quality control measures must be maintained by the contractor to ensure compliance with contract requirements. Period of Performance The period of performance for this contract shall be for 12 months from the effective date of award with four additional 12-month option periods.
