Background The Veteran’s Health Administration (VHA) is seeking additional software to enhance real-time surveillance, alerting, documentation, and reporting of VistA Orders within the Veteran Affairs (VA) Network. The current systems are inadequate for managing and tracking orders efficiently, leading to potential delays in patient care and jeopardizing overall quality of care. The goal of this contract is to implement a streamlined electronic solution that integrates with existing VA systems to improve order management and coordination of care delivery. Work Details The contractor shall provide the Order Tracking Manager Suite (OTM) software package with licenses for all South Texas Veterans Health Care System (STVHCS) medical centers and facilities/clinics. Key deliverables include: - A unique platform for each clinical service department allowing real-time views of order information. - An instant dashboard view of order statuses. - A web-based solution to eliminate paper forms. - Integration with VISTA and CPRS systems, ensuring bi-directional communication. - Real-time display and updates of order information. - Licensing, on-site training for VA staff, product setup/configuration, installation support, and ongoing maintenance throughout the contract duration. - Emergency support service available 24/7 for critical issues affecting patient safety or system accessibility. Period of Performance 3/16/2026 - 3/15/2027 with four 12-month option years. Place of Performance South Texas Veterans Health Care System (STVHCS) medical center and its associated clinics.
