Background The Pawnee Indian Health Center, part of the Indian Health Services (IHS), has a requirement for echocardiogram and vascular interpretation services via teleservice. Work Details The contractor will interpret standard echocardiograms and vascular studies (including carotid, venous, and arterial) through teleradiology and direct observation. Interpretations must be conducted by licensed, trained, and privileged personnel, with reports dictated and transmitted in a format compatible with the current Resource and Patient Management System/Electronic Health Record (RPMS/EHR). Direct phone access will be provided for consultations. The turnaround time for final reports is set at 72 hours post-exam completion. The contractor must ensure compatibility with HL7 software and interface with government-provided Image Archive and PACS systems. All reports must include patient identifiers such as name, date of birth, and chart number on each page. The contractor is also responsible for maintaining patient data security in compliance with HIPAA regulations.
