Background The Department of Veterans Affairs, Veterans Health Administration (VHA), Network Contracting Office 19 (NCO 19) is conducting a market survey to identify potential sources for software licenses related to Integrated Patient Care (IPC) clinical consulting and licensing. The goal of this contract is to enhance patient care through digital solutions that integrate with existing clinical systems, thereby improving the management of patient education and care. Work Details The contractor will provide licensing for 125 beds to facilitate access to IPC clinical consulting services via the internet. The services include: - A digital care education management solution that integrates with the Clinical Patient Record System (CPRS) to deliver personalized education to patients. - Daily clinical rounding to ensure patients complete assigned education, with automatic documentation of completion in the patient's electronic health record. - On-demand searching for educational materials and a medication formulary displaying real-time inpatient medications. - Patient feedback mechanisms regarding their care experience. - Integration capabilities including Admission Discharge Transmission (ADT) data, Health Level Seven (HL7) Scheduling Information Unsolicited (SIU) data, Batch File transfers, and Security Assertion Markup Language (SAML) for Single Sign-On functionality. - A clinician dashboard for caregivers that supports automation in delivering educational content, check-ins, communication, and surveys to enhance patient engagement and care triage.
