Washington Demolition Project

The Redevelopment Authority of the County of Washington (RACW) is seeking bids for the Washington Demolition Project. Bids must be submitted by 10:00 a.m. on February 6, 2026, at the RACW office located at 90 West Chestnut Street, Suite 700, Washington, Pennsylvania 15301, where they will be publicly opened and read aloud. A non-mandatory Pre-Bid Meeting is scheduled for January 27, 2026, at 10:00 a.m. at the site located at 83 North Main Street, Washington, PA 15301. Bidders are required to obtain bidding documents from The EADS Group at 11045 Parker Drive, North Huntingdon, PA 15642. Bidding documents are available electronically for a non-refundable fee of $53.00, while printed documents are available for $106.00 plus a $10.00 mailing fee. Both fees include 6% Pennsylvania Sales Tax. Payment should be made to The EADS Group, Inc. Each bid must include a bid guaranty of at least 10% of the total bid amount. The contractor must comply with minimum salary and wage requirements as specified in the contract documents and ensure non-discrimination in employment practices. RACW reserves the right to reject any or all bids and will hold bids for up to 45 days for review and qualification verification before awarding the contract. Contractors must be able to start work within 15 days of contract execution and complete it within 90 consecutive calendar days of the Notice to Proceed.
