Background The University of California, acting on behalf of the Lawrence Berkeley National Laboratory (LBNL), is issuing Request for Proposal (RFP) No. AA-2026-01 for the production of kitted hardware for the Advanced Light Source Update (ALS-U) Storage Ring Magnet Vertical Support Kits. This solicitation is governed by procurement policies under the University’s Prime Contract with the U.S. Government, represented by the Department of Energy (DOE). The goal of this contract is to acquire all necessary components and hardware to support the ALS-U project. Work Details The contract involves the production and delivery of all kitted hardware for the ALS-U Storage Ring Magnet Vertical Support Kits.
