Cross Creek Demolition Project

The Redevelopment Authority of the County of Washington (RACW) is accepting bids for the Cross Creek Demolition Project No. CD 24-06 until 10:00 A.M., prevailing time, on January 30, 2026, at their office located at 90 West Chestnut Street, Suite 700, Washington, Pennsylvania 15301. At this time, all bids will be publicly opened and read aloud. Bid documents can be obtained electronically at no charge by contacting redevelopment@racw.net or by calling 724-228-6875. For those who prefer hard copies, they are available at RACW for a non-refundable fee of $35.00, or can be mailed for a fee of $42.00. Payments should be made via checks payable to RACW. Only bid documents received directly from RACW will be accepted. Each bid must include a bid guaranty of no less than ten percent (10%) of the total bid amount. The form of the guaranty must comply with the requirements outlined in the contract documents. SBE, MBE, WBE, and Section 3 businesses are encouraged to participate in the bidding process. This project is subject to standard contract provisions of the U.S. Department of HUD Act of 1968, as amended, and the U.S. Department of Labor for CDBG, which includes Federal Prevailing Wage Rates, Civil Rights, and various Executive Orders. Contractors must ensure non-discrimination in employment practices based on race, age, color, religion, sex, national origin, or handicap. The Redevelopment Authority of the County of Washington reserves the right to reject any or all bids or to waive informalities in the bidding process. Bids may be held for a period not exceeding forty-five (45) days from the opening date for review and qualification assessment before awarding the contract. Contractors must be prepared to initiate work within fifteen (15) days of contract execution and complete the work within forty-five (45) consecutive calendar days of receiving the Notice to Proceed.
