Background The State of Hawaii, Department of Transportation, Highways Division is issuing this solicitation for the Kamehameha Highway Waimea Bay Rockfall Protection Phase 2 project. This project is part of the Federal-Aid Project No. NH-083-1(090) and is located in the District of Koolauloa on the Island of Oahu. The goal of the contract is to enhance safety by removing existing rockfall protection fencing and installing new fencing to prevent rockfalls in this area.
