Work Details The contractor will be responsible for furnishing all necessary equipment, tools, trucks, signs, barricades, traffic cones, labor, communication costs, taxes, insurance, overhead, travel, and incidental costs required to perform street sweeping tasks at various locations on State Highways in Oahu. Specific tasks include: 1. Performing street sweeping services as per the frequency outlined in the Street Sweeping Task and Frequency Matrix (Appendix A). 2. Adhering to the operational hours specified in Section 10.6 of the Specifications. 3. Coordinating all work with the District Engineer or authorized representative prior to scheduling equipment and labor. 4. Ensuring compliance with safety regulations and providing a comfortable environment for the public during operations. Period of Performance The contract period will commence upon award and is expected to continue until all required services are completed satisfactorily as per the contract specifications. Place of Performance The services will be performed at various locations across State Highways on the Island of Oahu. Bidder Requirements Bidders must have a minimum of one year of experience in traffic control services and managing similar contracts. They must provide documentation including: 1. A list of at least three similar street sweeping projects with details such as company name, contact information, project size, and description. 2. Certification as a Street Sweeper Operator for both Regenerative Air Sweeper and Mechanical Broom Sweeper. 3. A valid State of Hawaii motor vehicle operator’s license for operating street sweepers. 4. A valid disposal permit must be verified after award.
