Background The Fargo Public Works Department within the City of Fargo is seeking proposals for the procurement of various construction materials including aggregate materials, asphalt, emulsified asphalt, concrete, and black dirt. The goal of this contract is to ensure that the Public Works Department has access to high-quality materials that meet or exceed established standards for construction in the city. Work Details The contract includes the following products and services: - Aggregate Materials: Class 5 Gravel, Crushed/Recycled Concrete, FA2 Crushed Granite, FA2.5 Crushed Granite (measured in tons). - Asphalt Products: NDDOT FAA 43 Hot Mix Asphalt, 3/8” Minus Hot Mix Asphalt, 3/8” Minus Cold Mix Asphalt, CRS-2 Emulsified Asphalt, CSS-1h Emulsified Asphalt (measured in tons). - Concrete Products: 4000 PSI Concrete, 5000 PSI Concrete, Fast-Track Concrete, Controlled Density Fill Concrete (CDF), #4 x 20’ Epoxy Coated Rebar (approximately 150 sticks), various sizes of Concrete MH Adjusting Rings (24” x 2” and 27” x 2”), and specific types of concrete bases (MCB-B4406 and MCB-H27-2.00S1H) (measured in cubic yards or each). - Black Dirt: Screened Black Dirt (measured per yard). All materials must comply with City of Fargo Standard Specifications for Construction (Rev. 2021 or newer) or NDDOT Standard Specifications for Road and Bridge Construction (Rev. 2022 or newer). Proposals may be submitted for equivalent products that meet or exceed these specifications. Period of Performance The contract will be performed from the date of award until January 26, 2026. Place of Performance The geographic location for performance is within the City of Fargo. Bidder Requirements Proposals are encouraged from minority business enterprises. All proposers must ensure compliance with local laws and regulations regarding submissions. Proposals must include a specification sheet for each product offered.
