Background The Arkansas Department of Shared Administrative Services, Office of State Procurement (SAS OSP), is issuing this Invitation for Bid (IFB) to obtain pricing and contracts for telecommunications services specifically designed to support K12 schools within the state. The goal is to enhance the State network primarily for public schools, ensuring they have access to necessary telecommunications infrastructure. Work Details Contractors will provide Ethernet connectivity services for K12 schools, which includes: 1. Connectivity from school district hubs to Contractor aggregation locations. 2. Connectivity from Contractor aggregation locations to State aggregation sites. 3. High bandwidth Internet service with symmetrical, business-grade Direct Internet Access (DIA) that meets a Committed Information Rate (CIR) equal to 100% of provisioned bandwidth. 4. Installation services including site preparation, equipment setup, and compliance with applicable codes and standards. 5. Support services including a toll-free support center available 24/7, an online trouble ticket reporting system, and an assigned Account Manager for escalation requests. Period of Performance The anticipated start date for the contract is July 1, 2026, with an initial term of four years and potential renewals up to a total of seven years. Place of Performance Services will be performed throughout the state of Arkansas at various K12 school locations and State aggregation sites as specified in the solicitation. Bidder Requirements Contractors must possess a valid Arkansas Contractors license if installation involves modifying existing structures. They must also comply with E-Rate program requirements and provide their Service Provider Identification Number (SPIN) with their bid response.
