Federal Transit Administration Grant Applications for Hot Springs Intracity Transit

Resolutions R-26-95 and R-26-96 authorize the filing of grant applications for FY2026 with the Federal Transit Administration under 49 U.S.C. § 5307 (Urbanized Area Grant Program) and § 5339 (Bus and Bus Facility Grant Program) for Hot Springs Intracity Transit. If awarded, these grants could fund the purchase of new buses, transit technology, facility upgrades, or consulting services related to public transportation. Such grants often lead to RFPs for vehicle procurement, facility construction or renovation, and technology upgrades.
