Background The solicitation N66604-26-R-3000 is issued by the Naval Undersea Warfare Center Division, Newport (NUWCDIVNPT) for the Code 25 Consolidated Afloat Networks and Enterprise Services (CANES) Tactical Networks. This work supports the PEO C4I PMW160 Tactical Networks family of computer network systems aboard submarines, which facilitate communications onboard and offboard submarine platforms. The CANES program is a critical component of submarine Tactical Network systems, designed to enhance operational capabilities while adhering to stringent environmental and operational requirements specific to submarines. Work Details The contractor will be responsible for providing technical, engineering, programmatic, and administrative services related to the development, integration, modernization, maintenance, and documentation of the CANES and SubLAN systems. Key tasks include: 1. Development and integration of software and hardware solutions tailored for submarine environments. 2. Configuration management processes to ensure compliance with U.S. Navy standards. 3. Automation of maintenance activities to improve reliability and reduce complexity in product architecture. 4. Support for fleet requirements through effective change management processes. 5. Coordination with various stakeholders including PEO C4I PMW160 for Systems Engineering and Configuration Management. Period of Performance The estimated period of performance spans five years if all options are exercised, with a total requirement of approximately 505,785 man-hours. Place of Performance The work will primarily be performed at the Naval Station Newport in Rhode Island. Bidder Requirements Offerors must be registered under the DoD Joint Certification Program (JCP) to access applicable documents containing Controlled Unclassified Information (CUI). Additionally, bidders are required to demonstrate relevant experience in providing similar services within defense contracting environments.
