Background

The Rhode Island Lottery, part of the Department of Revenue, is seeking bids for the provision of Electronic Jackpot Signs. The goal of this contract is to enhance the visibility and communication of jackpot amounts for lottery games, thereby supporting the Lottery's mission to provide entertainment and generate revenue for the state.

Work Details

The contractor will provide 30 Electronic Jackpot Signs with the following specifications: - Size: Approximately 16.5"H x 35.5"W x .75"D (exact sizes are not mandatory but should be close). - Visibility: Must be viewable from a distance of 200 feet. - Design: Triple jackpot display with LED Edgelit illuminated panels and a black metal frame featuring a front snap-lock for graphics. - Communication: Each sign must include an RF wireless transmitter that connects to the Brightstar Retailer Pro Terminal via a USB port, allowing communication with both the terminal and the Brightstar Central System. The transceiver must be pre-approved for use; if not, the vendor will bear testing costs. - Graphics: Printed on UV protected replaceable acrylic.

Jackpot Capability

Must display Million and Billion Dollar Jackpots for Powerball and Mega Millions, and Thousand and Million Dollar Jackpots for Wild Money.

LED Digits

Three solid bar digits in red for each game, with digit sizes at least 2-3/8" wide x 4-3/4" high.

Additional Features

LED Dot Matrix words in red (Thousand, Million, Billion), UL approved components, FCC certification, power supply rated at 12VDC, and include hardware such as metal S-hooks with chain kit.

Period of Performance

The delivery of the signs is required within 8-10 weeks after contract award.

Place of Performance

The signs will be delivered to the Rhode Island Lottery located at 1425 Pontiac Avenue, Cranston, RI 02920.

Bidder Requirements

Bidders must confirm registration as a State vendor on the State Purchasing website and provide documentation if certified as MBE, WBE, DisBE or VBE by the State of Rhode Island. Additionally, foreign corporations must register with their home state's Secretary of State and provide a Certificate of Good Standing.
