This is a Sources Sought notice issued by the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA), Network Contracting Office 20. The VA is seeking information from Small Businesses capable of painting exterior building elements at Boise VA Medical Center. This is for market research only and not a request for proposals or quotations. It does not obligate the Government to issue a solicitation or award a contract, and no reimbursement will be made for responding. Interested parties should submit a brief capabilities statement demonstrating their ability to perform the required services. DESCRIPTION OF THE REQUIREMENT: The Contractor shall furnish all labor, materials, equipment, supervision, and incidentals necessary to prepare and paint designated exterior building elements at the Boise VA Medical Center, 500 West Fort Street, Boise, ID 83702. All work shall conform to the Statement of Work (SOW), manufacturer specifications, and applicable VA standards. The project is to prepare and paint various exterior building elements at the Boise VA Medical Center. The contractor must provide all labor, materials, equipment, and supervision, follow manufacturer instructions and VA standards, and coordinate all work with the COR and Facility Engineering. Key requirements include cleaning, repairing, and priming surfaces; protecting surrounding areas; matching existing colors; and fixing any damage caused during the work. All surfaces must be properly prepped by removing dirt, loose paint, and defects, then patched and spot primed as needed.
